- Can signs be used outdoors?
- At present, P.E.R. LED signs are only available for indoor use
- Is it possible to change individual LEDs?
- It is possible to change the LED circuit board.
- Caution: Afterwards, recalibration is necessary.
- Can icons become discoloured as a result of exposure to heat from the LEDs?
- The LEDs are operated in a temperature range specified for the signs, so that no impact is to be expected from the LEDs.
- Can icons be exchanged or purchased individually?
- Yes, our customer service can exchange them.
- How does the dimming function operate?
- Using a magnetic telescoping rod, the intensity of light from the LEDs can be adjusted to nine different settings: 100%, 64%, 32%, 16%, 8%, 4%, 2%, 1% and 0%. Simply hold the magnetic rod against the status LED until the desired luminance is achieved. Caution: Emergency signs must not be dimmed completely!
- What is the life expectancy of the LEDs?
- The life expectancy of the LEDs is approx. 100,000 h at 25°C.
- How long do the rechargeable batteries last?
- The rechargeable batteries have a life expectancy of approx. 500 charging cycles.
- Can the pendant be shortened on-site? Or be specified when ordering?
