Safety in public buildings and underground transport systems

Land-based applications offer an extensive variety of potential uses for safety and way marking products. Public buildings such as offices, hotels and hospitals must be equipped with safety signs and markings in the same way as tunnels for vehicles, trains and public transport.

LLL - Safety for passengers and crew

At sea, the international IMO and SOLAS regulations regarding the use of escape route guidance markings apply. Accordingly, all passenger ships with more than 36 passengers or weighing over 500 GRT must be equipped with a Low Location Lighting system.

FPM — Safety for airline passengers and crew

In civil aviation, the materials used must satisfy extremely demanding regulations (set by the aviation authorities LBA and FAA) with regard to fire behaviour and toxicity. The safety guidance markings developed and manufactured by P.E.R. for civil aviation are marketed and sold exclusively by Lufthansa Technik AG.
