In order to increase passenger safety, even in the event of complete darkness, a total loss of electricity or dense smoke, the coach travel company Vokuhl Reisen had one of its premier coaches equipped with safety guidance systems and photoluminescent signs by P.E.R.

Safe journeys in the dark
In emergencies, it is easier for passengers to find their way out of the coach because the new P.E.R. guidance systems and safety signs can be clearly seen even in the dark thanks to their very high luminance and they continue to glow even after a long night journey in the winter.
Safety Argument for Marketing
By way of active marketing, the safety measures are communicated via all channels. The "new safety" is received well by Vokuhl's passengers, who feel safe and protected. Older people in particular appreciated the added lighting and orientation aids on the coach.

More Light for Emergencies
Even coaches, which are regarded as a safe mode of transport, harbour dangers: 40 percent of coach accidents happen in the dark.
Vokuhl Reisen did not want to wait for the legislator to address the issue and had a new Volvo 9700 travel coach fully equipped with photoluminescent P.E.R. safety guidance systems.
